Nine is an upcoming film based on the renowned musical with the same name that has already gotten critical acclaim echoing Chicago’s winnings in 2002. It’s got a great cast full of triple-threat actresses (who can sing, dance and act) such as Marion Coutillard, Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Kate Hudson… and Black Eyed Peas’ Fergie. The whole story is focused on film maker, Guido, who is played by the one and only Daniel Day Lewis and each actress portrays an imporant woman from his life (Coutillard as his wife, Kidman as his muse, Cruz as his mistress, Fergie as a prositute from his younger days).
Kate Hudson, however, plays an American journalist who also falls for Lewis’ character and although our sister site, Screencrave, gave you a sneak peek at her track, “Cinema Italiano,” we’ve got the entire music video for the song!
Starting out as a mash-up of her time in the studio with Fergie, the video eventually shows more of Hudson singing as well as her scenes from the film. The girl can shake it and sing! Who knew? (Her child with the Black Crow’s Chris Robinson will grow up with major talent.) Enjoy!
