Kate Hudson and her new boyfriend Muse’s Matt Bellamy have kept most of their relationship under wraps, but now the rocker is speaking out.
He says that the couple just shared their first public date last weekend. He adds, “Things are going great at the moment. We had such a good time at Glastonbury. We just have fun together and are seeing how it goes. Kate is great. We have tried to keep things private so we haven’t told anyone how we met or any details like that. We are just doing our thing,” reports Mirror UK.
Still plugging away at her latest project, Kate Hudson was spotted on the set of “Something Borrowed” earlier today (June 2).
The “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days” actress was joined by costars Ginnifer Goodwin and John Krasinski at a location in the East Village of Manhattan.
And in addition to their fabulous on-camera chemistry, it seems Kate and Ginnifer are also great friends in real life.
Last week, Ms. Hudson and Ms. Goodwin were seen looking like close gal pals as they snacked on potato chips and chatted at the Maritime Hotel.
Kate Hudson and Cameron Diaz are allegedly exchanging words over Hudson’s ex and Diaz’s current boyfriend Alex Rodriguez.
According to US Weekly, the Almost Famous star is upset that Diaz has been seen leaving the baseball player’s apartment on numerous occasions.
“Kate hates Cameron. She’s p*ssed Cameron is dating A-Rod,” said an insider.
Hudson apparently believes that Diaz is retaliating after the Fool’s Gold actress starting seeing Justin Timberlake merely days following the singer and Diaz’s split in 2007.
“Kate thinks it’s payback, pure and simple. Kate thinks Cameron is an ageing old lady actress struggling to remain sexy and relevant,” the source continued.
However, a friend of Diaz added: “She thinks it’s a joke Kate would be mad… Kate is only upset because she hates being single.”

Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow pull out all the stops for Chopard
Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow have both had a super-stylish week, which culminated in them both wowing at last night’s Chopard Celebrates 150 Years of Excellence party.
Gwyneth has this week sported two Victoria Beckham Collection dresses, but last night chose a stunning floor-length lace gown with a cowl-shaped back by Antonio Berardi.
Kate Hudson was also on fine form at Chopard’s 150th anniversary held at The Frick Collection, in a draped purple-grey dress with a striking string of long pearls and white platform courts.
The two A-listers were joined by a host of stars at the bash, including Christina Ricci and Claire Danes, who was stunning in a one-shouldered frock from Lanvin spring 2010.
Kate Hudson has joined the cast of romantic comedy Something Borrowed, reports Variety.
Ginnifer Goodwin, John Krasinski and Colin Egglesfield are already on board to star in the film, based on Emily Giffin’s bestselling book series.
The story centres on Manhattan attorney Rachel Miller as she experiences a crisis when she falls for her best friend Darcy’s fiancé on her 30th birthday. Hudson will play the role of Darcy.
The Girl Next Door’s Luke Greenfield is directing Something Borrowed, while actress Hilary Swank is among its producers.
Insiders tell Vulture that the fate of Butter — a Black List–featured script that uses a butter-carving contest at the Iowa State Fair as a metaphor for 2008’s Hilary versus Obama Iowa caucus showdown — is, uh, getting clarified: The Weinstein Company and producer Mike DeLuca are entering into discussions with Jim Carrey to star, while Kate Hudson is already negotiating to come aboard. Jason Micallef’s script (which also won 2008’s Nicholl Fellowship) would have Carrey playing a philandering, Bill Clinton–esque repeat sculpting champion who is forced to stop competing because he’s “termed out.” When his long-suffering wife (Jennifer Garner is already signed on) finally steps up for her chance to become America’s next top dairy queen, she’s pitted against a 12-year-old African-American girl in foster care. Hudson would co-star as the Carrey character’s illicit paramour. We’re already looking forward to the sequel, I Can’t Believe It’s Not Health-Care Reform.
Kate Hudson, Kathy Bates and Whoopi Goldberg are among the cast in New Orleans this month for the filming of “Earthbound,” a romantic drama set for release this fall.
Filming has taken the actresses and other cast and crew in recent weeks to tucked-away French Quarter courtyards, the city’s zoo, parks and the elegant Le Pavillon Hotel.
On Wednesday, Hudson was part of filming at the Napoleon House, a 200-year-old French Quarter building that was once home to Nicholas Girod, mayor of New Orleans from 1812 to 1815. The building got its name when Girod offered his home to Napoleon Bonaparte as a refuge during the Frenchman’s exile in 1821. Though Bonaparte didn’t take Girod up on the offer, the name stuck. Despite the wet weather, designer Christopher Bailey had a star-studded front row at the Burberry Prorsum fall fashion show in London. Mary-Kate Olsen, Kate Hudson, Kristen Stewart and Claire Danes were all escorted into the Chelsea College of Art under giant umbrellas done in the British label’s signature plaid. Hudson, bundled in a fur-collared khaki coat from the line’s menswear collection (with an emerald green sequined shift underneath), paused backstage to talk to PEOPLE about her favorites in the 53-piece collection: “I loved the shearling boots,” she said. “That last white coat… I’d love to see that in my closet,” hinted the actress, who excitedly gave notes to her stylist, Rachel Zoe, from across the catwalk. Danes, who turned out in a putty-colored tulle dress and skyscraper heels, was equally enthusiastic: “I don’t go to many fashion shows to be honest,” she told PEOPLE adding, “I tend to only go to my friends’ shows, which is why I am here today.” Her fave item? “I loved the cropped coats, especially the ones with the zippers, they were great,” she said as she greeted the star of the show, Bailey himself, with a warm hug
