Kate Hudson, Kathy Bates and Whoopi Goldberg are among the cast in New Orleans this month for the filming of “Earthbound,” a romantic drama set for release this fall.
Filming has taken the actresses and other cast and crew in recent weeks to tucked-away French Quarter courtyards, the city’s zoo, parks and the elegant Le Pavillon Hotel.
On Wednesday, Hudson was part of filming at the Napoleon House, a 200-year-old French Quarter building that was once home to Nicholas Girod, mayor of New Orleans from 1812 to 1815. The sportsman is said to have split from Hudson in December after a whirlwind romance.
But the New York Yankees player - nicknamed A-Rod - is now rumoured to have moved on from the actress with another Hollywood beauty after he was spotted partying with Diaz during the Super Bowl festivities over the weekend, according to America’s OK! magazine.
The publication reports the pair was seen together at Creative Artists Agency’s Super Bowl party at the W Hotel in Miami, Florida on Saturday night.
A source tells the publication, “A-Rod and Cameron have been totally hooking up. They were having a great time, (Diaz was being) fun and flirty.”

BLACK CROWES rocker CHRIS ROBINSON is celebrating after the birth of a baby daughter on Saturday.
The bearded frontman - ex husband of actress KATE HUDSON - and his wife Allison Bridges, who he married earlier this year, welcomed their first child together the day after Christmas at their Los Angeles home.
The musician and his wife named the newborn Cheyenne Genevieve.
A spokesperson for Robinson tells People.com: “Chris Robinson and his new wife, Allison, have a healthy and beautiful baby girl.
“Cheyenne Genevieve Robinson, 6 lbs, 3 oz., was born on December 26, 2009 at the Robinsons’ home in California.”
Chris also has a five-year-old son, Ryder Russell, with Hudson.

Actress Kate Hudson reportedly dumped sportsman Alex Rodriguez, her boyfriend of nine-months, because he is still obsessed with Madonna.
Hudson, 30, became “mad with jealousy” after the New York Yankees player kept calling and texting the 51-year-old singer with whom he had a fling before he met the ‘Nine’ star, Sun online reported.
“She gave him three chances then hit the roof. How would you feel if your boyfriend kept calling his ex?,” a close friend of Hudson told the newspaper.
Rodriguez, 34, started dating the ‘Almost Famous’ star nine months ago but they split recently.
